BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – May 9, 2023 – THA Center for Innovative Solutions (TCIS) is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with AlertGPS, a leading innovator in connected enterprise safety technology. Their solution provides the quickest way to locate, communicate and get help to mobile employees. At the simple touch of a button, a mobile worker can quickly trigger a two-way emergency call to the AlertGPS 24/7 Safety Monitoring Center, with trained agents ready to dispatch help anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. The company’s innovative solution was featured in a recent Toggle magazine article, highlighting how a Medical Network has deployed the safety solution for home healthcare workers.
Through this new partnership, Tennessee hospitals gain access to advanced safety solutions and safety programs to protect traveling and mobile workers. As hospitals increase the number of care providers serving patients in their homes, equipping mobile workers with a robust communication and safety platform like AlertGPS will provide an additional layer of safety and security for those employees.
“TCIS recognizes the significant value that AlertGPS and their innovative technology platform offers Tennessee hospitals, particularly in the area of employee health and safety,” said TCIS Senior Vice President Anne Brandner. “We look forward to familiarizing our member hospitals with AlertGPS and their pioneering technology.”
“AlertGPS is delighted to join TCIS and provide our world-class safety solution to the healthcare professionals of Tennessee” said Julia Howard, Chief Operating Officer for AlertGPS. “With healthcare workers being at greater risk of workplace violence, we provide the quickest way to locate, communicate and get emergency help to them anywhere and at any time. Our one-touch SOS button via our wearable device or mobile safety app combined with our alerting platform helps companies stay ahead of the risks and keep their mobile workforce safe.”
AlertGPS has developed a cloud-based portal which communicates with their smartphone app and wearable device, providing alerting, location monitoring, communication and emergency response to mobile workers under an integrated system. Their products and services are deployed and used nationwide by organizations in the healthcare, utilities, energy, delivery services and social services industries, as well as by the U.S. Military. While proper training in safety procedures remains vital, providing mobile workers with the right tools to request and receive help in an emergency situation is critical to avoid negative outcomes.
“We are honored to be selected by TCIS as a strategic partner for our industry-leading suite of solutions,” said Howard. “With help from TCIS, we intend to dramatically improve the safety and well-being of THA member hospitals’ mobile workforce using our world class safety solutions.”
